AFTRADE DMCC Opens Western Africa Office in Nigeria

Abuja, Nigeria – December 22, 2021:  AFTRADE DMCC has opened a new office in Abuja to cater to its growing presence in Western Africa. AFTRADE distributes agricultural and mining equipment in Africa, and its Nigeria representative Jad Ibrahim will ensure that the company’s presence in Western Africa is more efficient.

“We are excited to establish a strong presence in Western Africa with this new office in Nigeria. It will be our base for our sales and servicing across this important region. This follows our success in southern Africa, where our local servicing centres provide spare parts and warranty services,” said Alexander Zingman, head of AFTRADE DMCC.

Agricultural machinery is in demand in Africa as the continent gears up to increase food production. AFTRADE DMCC is the authorized dealer in the African market for most Belarussian manufacturers, and has agricultural deals with several countries to provide tractors and other farming machinery, as well as to provide training in modern farming techniques.

The company has signed an agreement in Nigeria to supply thousands of affordable tractors to help farmers boost their farm output. The tractors will be manufactured in Belarus, and distributed in Nigeria.

“Our range of tractors will revolutionize farming in Nigeria, with local farmers able to mechanize the sowing and harvesting of their crops. This will give smallholders the means to boost the yields and earnings they get from their farms,” said Alexander Zingman.

The company supports the Nigerian government’s efforts to boost agricultural productivity. This will help provide sufficient quantities of food to meet domestic demand, as well as commodity crops for export to the international market.
